Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines and backend services
- Build and maintain reliable ETL and data processing workflows
- Develop Python-based applications and services
- Work with engineering teams to integrate data-driven solutions
- Design and optimize database queries and data models
- Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines and services
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise software solutions
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
- Experience building data pipelines or ETL workflows
- Understanding of REST APIs and backend development
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good understanding of software development practices
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications
- Knowledge of Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools
- Experience with data warehousing
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with distributed systems
